This week New York will host top design houses, showcasing their looks for the new season.
However, the fashion show will not end on the catwalks. So called ‘street style’ is of growing influence amongst fashion followers. Below I have pictured my favourite off the runway looks.

One trend that I love this season is one colour outfits- I think it gives outfits a high fashion and put together look, as shown by the model in this pic.

Statement coats have also made a huge appearance at New York fashion week. This has to be one of my favourite appearances of the statement coat. It features the red everyone has loved this season, and it’s over- sized look lends itself well to the street wear trend.

Layering- functional and fashionable. This look is another one of my faves because, despite the layering giving it a casual feel, it looks still manages to look so put together and coordinated.

Blazers have also been highly featured on the streets during fashion week. I love this look. The pattern and coordination makes this a statement look and the belt slims the waistline, giving it a feminine silhouette.

Matching outfits doubles the impact, especially in the case of these outfits. The contrast of the bright yellow and black was always going to grab attention.
